# CVD — Cumulative Volume Delta

**In the Antigravity cosmology:** Fuel / Energy Flow.
**In classical language:** the cumulative difference between aggressively bought and aggressively sold volume.

## What CVD really is

Every market transaction has two sides, but only one of them is the *aggressor*: someone crossed the spread because they wanted in **now**, at market price. CVD sums those decisions: trades executed at the ask (aggressive buying) count as plus, at the bid (aggressive selling) as minus. The result is a running balance of *wanting*: who is paying for immediacy — demand or supply.

That is why CVD says something price alone does not. Price can rise on negative CVD (aggressive supply absorbed by passive demand — "silent absorption") and fall on positive CVD (aggressive demand walking straight into a passive wall — "distribution"). The divergence between price and flow is the most interesting phenomenon in the entire System — and the most frequent subject of our Logs.

## How we measure it on the bridge

Heniu tracks CVD separately for the three bodies of the System: the NDX Star (cash market), the NQ Probe (futures) and the QQQ Dyson Sphere (ETF). Scale matters: on NDX, millions of shares are ordinary breathing; hundreds of millions are an event. The classification thresholds (from "supply test" to "demand singularity") are hard-coded in the system's configuration — the narrative may dress the numbers in cosmos, but it may not move them.

## What CVD does not do

It does not predict the future — we measured that on our own system and the honest result was a coin flip. CVD describes the **current state** of the fight between demand and supply; it is a description of force, not a prophecy of direction. On this blog it is used strictly that way.
