Baker Hughes (BKR) revenue increased by 14.5% y/y in the third quarter to 8.03 billion USD, while net income fell by 32.5% y/y to 411.00 million USD.

### Quarterly results

Adjusted earnings per share were 0.70 USD (2.9% y/y), while reported earnings per share fell to 0.41 USD (−32.8% y/y).

### What management says

Management emphasized that order growth is driven by enduring trends, such as increasing demand for power generation capacity in the United States related to data centers and investments in gas infrastructure. According to management, order strength is broad, manifesting in growth in power systems and LNG, as well as a growing equipment base supporting service. Management expects revenue growth and EBITDA margin expansion in the following year, noting that margin improvement will not be linear but will result from cost synergies and a more favorable sales mix. According to management, a seasonal decline will occur in the first quarter in subsequent quarters, with a clearer improvement in the second half of the year. At the same time, management is taking a cautious approach to short-term prospects in the Middle East, expecting a weakening of activity in this region.
