What management says#
Management emphasized that the gap between the company’s needs and deliveries from suppliers is narrowing. According to management, with increasing deliveries, the priority is serving aircraft manufacturers to maintain the continuity of their production lines, before fulfilling orders for the aftermarket. Management indicated that the company is directing a larger number of deliveries toward US national security needs than to foreign customers, while the order backlog shows no declines. According to management, electronic component shortages have not significantly impacted operations, and no changes in customer behavior resulting from oil prices were observed in passenger aviation. Management also stated that negotiations for renewed contracts with manufacturers are proceeding as expected and will allow for a better alignment of prices with costs.
