### What management says

Management expressed great satisfaction with comparable sales results, also after excluding exceptional factors. According to management, customers are in fairly good condition, although higher-income individuals are performing better than lowest-income customers. Management emphasized that new stores being opened in subsequent years are performing very well. According to management, the approach to debt and share buybacks remains unchanged, and the company is focusing on serving customers and gaining market share instead of trying to predict the weather. Management also noted that the industry is behaving rationally in terms of pricing and the company's approach to pricing policy will not change.
